Thanks to a partnership with the Gibson Center for Senior Services in North Conway, the Chocorua Public Library is happy to offer free chromebook tablets for seniors in the area and accompanying training opportunities. The Gibson Center and the Conway Public Library obtained a grant from the National Library of Medicine to pay for the tablets. The purpose is to mitigate isolation for seniors by giving them the opportunity to access technology they otherwise cannot access. For those who have been feeling isolated from the outside world, being able to access and use a computer for many purposes, including telehealth services, is crucial.
