Dust off your thinking caps and get ready to dream big! The Chocorua Public Library is thrilled to announce our next Once Upon a Story Hour, and this month, we are going beyond the pages of our favorite books to explore the limitless power of the mind.
A Very Special Guest
On Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, we are welcoming a truly legendary friend to our reading nook: the one and only Madame Foster! Known for her boundless energy and her belief that “imagination is the key to everything,” Madame Foster will be leading our session. With her wisdom and whimsical stories, she’ll show us that no idea is too big and no dream is too wild.
This Month’s Focus: Imagination
Why settle for the ordinary when you can create the extraordinary? Our focus lesson this month is all about Imagination. We will talk about how our favorite stories come to life in our heads and how we can use our own “brain muscles” to create new worlds, characters, and adventures every single day.
The Activity: Magical Unicorn Squishies
To put our imagination into practice, we have a hands-on activity that is sure to be a hit. Every attendee will get to color and customize their very own unicorn squishy! * Design: Will your unicorn be neon green with polka dots?
