4th Annual Chilly Chili & Cornbread Cook-Off Returns April 18, 2026 – Fundraising Event
A Community Fundraising Event Supporting the Chocorua Public Library
The 4th Annual Chilly Chili & Cornbread Cook-Off, a fundraising event, returns on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 12:00–3:00 PM, bringing together great food, friendly competition, and community spirit—all in support of the Chocorua Public Library. This popular spring event is a favorite for locals and visitors alike and will be held this year at an exciting new venue, generously hosted by The Preserve @ Chocorua.
The Chilly Chili & Cornbread Cook-Off is one of the library’s most important annual fundraisers. The Chocorua Public Library is a private, nonprofit library that receives no municipal funding, relying entirely on donations, grants, and fundraising events to support free programs, events, and access to resources for children, families, and lifelong learners. Every ticket purchased, raffle entry sold, and donation made directly supports the library’s ongoing operations and community programming.
The event features chili and cornbread tastings from contestants competing in three categories: Amateur, Kids (Under 16), and Professional. Attendees enjoy sampling a wide variety of recipes while voting and cheering on their favorites in this friendly, judged competition.
🎟 Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for children under 12. Tickets may be purchased in advance at chocorualibrary.org, in person at the Chocorua Public Library, or at the door on the day of the event.
🆕 New for 2026, the Cook-Off will include a raffle and auction, featuring prizes donated by generous local businesses and community partners. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase during the event, offering additional ways to support the library while winning great local items.
🍸 Attendees can also enjoy a cash bar with signature cocktails and mocktails provided by Royal Bee Bartenders, who are generously donating a portion of their proceeds back to the library.
