Springtime imagination is blooming at the library! Join us on Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 3:00–4:00 PM for another magical edition of Once Upon A Story Hour at the Chocorua Public Library featuring the always delightful Madame Foster.

This month’s theme is all about Imagination! Through stories, conversation, creativity, and play, children will be encouraged to dream big, think creatively, and explore the power of their imaginations. Story Hour is designed to create a welcoming and engaging space where children and families can connect through literacy and hands-on fun.

Madame Foster will guide children through an exciting afternoon of storytelling and activities that spark curiosity and creativity. Whether your child loves magical creatures, adventures, art, or simply spending time with friends at the library, this event is sure to bring smiles and inspiration.

As part of the afternoon’s fun, children will get to participate in a special craft activity: coloring their very own unicorn squishy! These adorable squishies are always a hit and give children a chance to express their creativity while making something fun to take home and enjoy.

Once Upon A Story Hour has become a favorite community event at the library, bringing families together for memorable afternoons filled with stories, laughter, and imagination. Events like these help foster a love of reading while encouraging children to think creatively and engage with others in meaningful ways.

This event is perfect for young children and families looking for a fun and relaxed Sunday activity in the heart of the community. We encourage families to arrive a few minutes early to get settled and ready for the fun to begin.

We can’t wait to see where your imagination takes you at Once Upon A Story Hour!
