Mother Goose and Once Upon a Story Hour at Chocorua Public Library!

If you’ve seen the recent NH Chronicle feature highlighting Once Upon a Story Hour, you already know why families from across the region are discovering this one-of-a-kind monthly event. The magic continues on Sunday, July 26, from 3:00–4:00 PM, as the Chocorua Public Library welcomes a very special guest—Mother Goose!

This month’s Once Upon a Story Hour at Chocorua Library celebrates the theme “Celebrate Our Differences.” Through timeless stories, engaging conversation, and interactive learning, children will discover that our unique qualities are what make our community stronger, kinder, and more welcoming. It’s an important message wrapped in the joy of storytelling, laughter, and imagination.

After storytime, children will create their own dream catcher to take home. This hands-on craft encourages creativity while reminding young participants that everyone’s dreams, ideas, and perspectives matter. All craft supplies will be provided, making this a fun and stress-free afternoon for families.

Since being featured on NH Chronicle, Once Upon a Story Hour has continued to grow, welcoming more families each month who are looking for meaningful, screen-free experiences that inspire a love of reading and learning. The combination of beloved storybook characters, educational themes, and creative activities has quickly made this program one of the library’s most popular family events.
