Ms. FrizzleHold onto your seats and fasten your magic seatbelts—because The Frizz is pulling up to Chocorua Public Library for a very special edition of Once Upon a Story Hour! On Sunday, November 30th, from 3:00–4:00 PM, children and families are invited to join us for an afternoon filled with imagination, creativity, and heartfelt conversation.

This month’s focus lesson is all about gratitude—what it means, how it feels, and the many wonderful ways we can show it. Through stories, interactive moments, and Ms. Frizzle’s classic sense of adventure, children will explore the question:

“How can you show you are grateful?”

Together, we’ll uncover simple, meaningful ways to express appreciation—whether through words, actions, kindness, or the small daily choices that reflect thankfulness. It’s a perfect theme as we move toward the close of the year and reflect on the people and moments that matter most.

After our story and discussion, participants will enjoy a hands-on activity:

🎁 Decorate Your Own Wish Box!

Children will create a personalized wish box to take home—a place to store thankful thoughts, kind wishes, or notes of appreciation. This creative craft encourages mindfulness, reflection, and the joy of recognizing the good in everyday life.

Whether your child is a longtime fan of The Magic School Bus or simply loves imaginative storytime fun, this event promises magic, connection, and heart.
