Library Cards
Library cards are provided at no charge to all our patrons regardless
of your town of residence.
Programs
The Chocorua Public Library offers programs free of charge to the
public. Check our News and Events to see what programs are offered.
Museum Passes
Thanks to a generous patron donation, the library has museum passes
to the Currier Museum. Please call ahead to reserve the passes.
Books
Our book collection includes over 13,000 volumes. Books are loaned
for a period of two weeks and may be renewed as long as there are
no reserves on the material. In addition to our own Large Print
collection we receive fiction and non-ficton Large Print books from
the NH State Library.
Audio tapes, CDs, Videos, DVDs, Magazines
and Other Materials
The Chocorua Public Library has great collections
in these formats and all can be borrowed for two weeks except videos
and DVDs which go out for a one week circulation period. We are
also members of two local audio/video cooperatives so our collections
our always changing.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
Materials not in our collection may be requested through the Interlibrary
Loan system, free of charge to the patron. We encourage you to take
advantage of this great service!
Internet and Wireless Connectivity
The library has two public access computers. In addition we have
wireless connectivity for your laptop. We also have a color printer
and costs are 15 cents per page for black and white and 25 cents
per page for color. We are here to help those who want to learn
more about computers!
Databases
The library has access to many databases through the NH State Library
and EBSCO which can be accesses at the library or from your computer.
These databases have newspapers, journals, and magazine articles.
Please contact us to learn more about this service and to get your
username and password.
Copy Machine
Costs for copies are 15 cents per page.
