Save the Date! 13th Annual Winter Celebration!
This year marks the 13th Annual Winter Celebration! We are pleased to announce that this year's celebration will be held on Saturday, February, 25, 2011! This year the theme will be, "A Night on the HIgh Seas" Come join the Captain and his crew in a night of fun and excitement!

The Mitten (and Hat) Tree at the Chocorua Library
Mitten Tree is an annual custom at the library. Patrons donate hats and mittens to be donated to the Tamworth Community Christmas Project. The greatest need is for hats and mittens that will fit teenagers as most of the Christmas Project recipients are in middle school or high school. The Chocorua Library will begin collecting hats and mittens in November. Please look for the special basket located near the circulation desk to place hats and mittens. Deadline for hats and mittens to be dropped off is December 13th.

Outside the Library
We are happy to arrange delivery of books, audios, videos and DVDs to people unable to travel to the Library. We have a DVD player that can be loaned out

Parenting Collection
Chocorua has a Parenting section next to the children's area. Browse while your children play with our many games, stuffed animals, and puppet theater.

Transfer your Records to CD
The Library is now offering the exciting opportunity to have your beloved old 33 and 45 records made into CDs. Great gifts! $8.00 per record. Could all of you spread the word.

Would You Like to Volunteer?
Would you like to help out at the library or do you know someone who would? Perhaps you know a student who is looking for a service project. At this time, we have a particular need for people to help with pulling cards and reshelving books. Also, if you have other ideas for ways you can help, we'd like to hear them.
